Don't set the modem in bridged mode because my I.S.P. is PPOE so if the router is set to dynamic and the modem is set to bridged you will not be able to connect to the internet (or at least my set up would not!) My set up is a Belkin F5D8233-4 router and TP-Link TD-8816 modem, spent hours trying to figure it out and this worked and was simple. Then I upgraded to the new Quantum fios gateway router. Now 3 (2 of one type 1 of another different manufactures) of 10 wifi devices will not connect to the router. We get password incorrect error? Was on the phone with tech for 2 hrs! No help. Check the channel your wifi router uses---I think it has to be 2,6 or 11. Don't quote me on that though. I use 6 and it works fine. I haven't been terribly impressed by the wifi calling on my phone. Resetting the router can help, assuming you've had success at some point getting through.
