As this issue is occurring on any internet browser on the computer, this can't be linked to a specific browser.

A while ago, out of the blue, Firefox and Google Chrome stopped working. It occured after an update, but I was in a hurry, and I didn't really mind using Internet Explorer. It is now a few months later, and after installing some updates recently, including IE 8, internet explorer no longers works.
