I tested on Tiger 10.4.10 with Safari 2.0.4 - it's possible that Safari 3.0.x behaves differently (?). I found that history worked as normal, but was totally empty after quitting Safari & restarting; if yours behaved differently, chances are that this err hack won't work for safari 3
