Hi! I’m going to move out into my own flat in a few weeks and I bought a Netgear R7000 router (was on Sale on amazon.de a few days ago). I want to build a NAS on my home network with about 4-6 TB useable space and some kind of parity (Raid5 is my favourite so far).

With the USB ports, you get some NAS functionality in the R7000. The NAS capability is Netgear's ReadyShare technology. I attached a Western Digital My Passport drive to the USB 3.0 port.
